The HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides programs and services supporting the needs of women and families affected by breast cancer in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Bras for Body & Soul®, a program of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, provides medically necessary items such as bras, prosthesis, lymphedema sleeves, wigs and more, to women who have had breast surgery. We also carry bras appropriate for all women and girls, including nursing bras.

Bras for Body & Soul^® - Long-Distance Personal Consultations

We are constantly asked: "How can I benefit from your expertise and advice if I'm not located where you are?"

The bra-ista staff at Bras for Body & Soul^® looks forward to helping you achieve ultimate comfort and support for your breast(s), neck, shoulders and back.

The consultation is our best way to understand each woman's particular bra and/or prosthesis needs. In our shop we see women by appointment so that they benefit from the time, care and expertise of the bra-ista. You can also benefit from our seven years' experience of personally fitting women of every size, shape and circumstance by having a consultation, via telephone or email.

What exactly is a "bra-ista?"

Bra-ista (noun): Professional Bras for Body & Soul bra/prosthesis consultant.

How does the Long-distance Personal Fitting process work?

Once we have your information, we will recommend 3 various styles/sizes for you to purchase so that you can try them in the privacy of your own home. We ask that you purchase 3 so that you can compare the fit and comfort of each bra. We expect that at least one may not fit, because we purposely sent a variety in your size range for you to try on. Any/all that do not fit, you may return within 30 days for full credit -- as long as they are clean and unworn. There are times when a client needs to return all 3, but we now have a more refined idea what she needs and can send additional bras.

Our goal is to help you finally experience the comfort and support you deserve. Once you have decided on one or more styles, you can purchase additional bras that you need. With the purchase of 4 or more bras within the first 60 days of your consultation, the consultation fee will be credited to your credit card. If you purchase 6 bras, you also will receive a 7th bra FREE!

Fees

There is a one-time $25.00 consultation fee for long-distance personal fittings (by phone or e-mail). We accept both Visa and MasterCard credit cards. We will do our best to respond within 24 hours with some suggestions of what size and styles we recommend for you.

In addition, the client pays all mailing expenses.
